This is a vegan bakery in Washington, D.C. that will ship yummy treats to you. I think I want the Lemon Coconut Cookies or the Bunny Hugger Carrot Cake.

Poor Keiko. Although I guess spending his last days in a Norwegian fjord must have been nice. Better than the tank in Mexico. Free Willy!

Happy Monday! I had a lovely weekend, my parents came to visit for an early Christmas. It was wonderful to see them and we had a great time. Threw a rockin' party on Saturday night where (after several cocktails) my dad regaled us with tales of escaping Mexican jails in the 60s. Good times.

Anyone surprised by this? Anyone?.......Anyone?

See, this I like. Gwynnie and Chris Martin were able to get married under the radar, privately, and not have the media ruin their day. Good for them! Bennifer needs to shut the fuck up and quit their whining. Any overexposure in the press is their own damn fault. You don't want the press to catch wind of your wedding? Don't throw a huge million-dollar bash for 500 people in Santa Barbara for Christ's sake! Go somewhere remote and private with a few family members and friends, and keep the day just for yourselves. If you're an attention whore, you reap what you sow. There ya go.

More news on the train wreck that is Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown's marriage.

This whole "bachelorette" wedding bullshit gives me a migraine. People are starving in the streets and they spend a bijillion dollars on a pink wedding. I hope they have a TV special for the divorce. THAT I will watch.

Surprise, surprise, surprise... NOT!!

Has anyone read The Da Vinci Code? It's a fascinating book. I don't think much of the author's style, but the premise and the history that are the basis of the story are amazing. It's about the fact that the Catholic Church has been hiding the fact that Jesus was married to Mary Magdalene and they had a child. The Church wanted to make Jesus divine so that Catholic ideology would be seen as the word of God, not the lies of a megalomaniacal misogynist cult.

I went to Catholic school for twelve years growing up (elementary through high school), but I never really bought into Catholicism as a whole. I totally reject the picture God as fire and brimstone, encouraging war against those who don't believe in "him", or the hatred of homosexuals, etc. Any god I would believe in would be accepting and loving of everyone, even those who don't believe in him, or her, or whatever. But I could see how a revelation like this would totally throw the Catholic Church into upheaval. The thought that their whole doctrine is based on fiction. I wonder how many people would reject the Church after that. I'll bet that more people would reject the truth, because it would go against everything that they had known their whole lives.

For the person who has everything, the feel-good gift of the year. My mom has donated animals in other people's name from this organizaton before. What a great idea!

Look! An online Advent calendar! This used to be my favorite time of the year, but as I've gotten older and can't spend much time at home with my family, Christmastime just isn't the same. I feel so Grinch-y. Maybe when I have my own kids it'll be different.

Anyone watch Alias last night? When did Will turn into such a freakin' hottie? I think it was the leather pants and the ass-whupping. Yum.

How cute are these bags? Love love love.

This really surprised me. She seems like such an ice princess, I have a hard time imagining her as a motherly type. But congrats, anyway...

Oops again. Work blows. Busy busy busy making candles. No life. Sigh.
